Thailand Globalscope Days 6 & 7

Day 6
Shop til you drop day... or if you're in Thailand shop til you have heat stroke. Ok, maybe that's a bit exaggerated, but we spent the morning in Bangkok in an outdoor market called JJ Market. And it was HOT!!! We walked around the crowded sauna for a number of hours and collected souvenirs then made our way via the skyway BTS - public transportation- to the art museum in central Bangkok. We saw a couple exhibits and then spent the evening at Newsong, an international church. Always a great experience to worship with believers from all over the world.

Day 7
Yesterday was a LONG day and we were exhausted, so it was nice to have a more relaxing day. We went to a Thai church this morning and then headed to Future Park - one of the jumbo malls near Rangsit, where we are staying. We started our mall trip with traditional Thai massages - when in Thailand...! Alex and Kelsey braved the full body massage, or human origami from our vantage point while the rest of us opted for the foot and shoulder option. It was wonderful, painful, but wonderful. We decided to put our newly aligned muscles to work at our next stop: bowling! It was fun to play a couple games with the crew and worked up an appetite for us all. So we finished our evening with dinner at a Japanese buffet. Good times. We have been having a great trip - hard to believe we are halfway through our time here already . We are all leaning a lot, enjoying our experience, and looking forward to what God has in store for the last part of our trip. Hope everyone back home is doing well! Can't wait to share more stories when we get back!
