Originating from flatirons West Campus, this team will travel to our partner in South Sudan to continue to build relationships with the people there. This team will visit projects in Juba and in Yambio, a rural community in southwestern South Sudan. Familiarity and comfort in speaking on topics such as stewardship, marriage, leadership, and discipleship would be helpful for this team. Medical professionals are also needed for this team, especially those trained in emergency medicine and first aid. You must be extremely flexible and dynamic to be a part of this team. Please make sure you can attend all required meeting dates prior to applying.

A training day will be held at FCC West to help the team in preparing to travel to South Sudan. Training will be focused on a variety of topics including Community Transformation, Team Dynamics, and Crossing Culture. Note: Times are in EST. Training will be 8am-4pm MST.

This meeting will provide an opportunity for the team to get together one last time before departure. Group packing will be done as well as logistical planning for the journey.

The team will get together to unpack what they experienced in South Sudan, how it impacted their lives, and plans for the future.
