Our Team:
Team Germany was great! We had a great time getting to know each other and were able to share our stories with one another and how God has led us through these lives of ours. We laughed, took a lot of pictures, prayed together and really immersed ourselves in the purpose of why we were there.
Globalscope:
Globalscope – Unterwegs has an amazing staff. It was great to experience just a week in the life of their lives and daily work. They really do have a dedicated team and I was really impressed with their unity in their purpose and mission within Tubingen. They have worked hard at providing a comfortable and inviting space where students can come and hang out with each other and make meaningful relationships that have the potential of pointing people to Jesus.
Germany:
What a beautiful country. Our team really had a great time serving with our new friends. We experienced the beauty of the southwest part of Germany and saw some really cool historic sites. We were able to partner with Globalscope and serve at an Art Festival at a local church. We were even invited back! How crazy is that? We all tried the language and had some successes and fails with it but every attempt seemed to be appreciated.
God:
God is good. He protected us! He showed us that he is at work in the hearts of his people in Germany. He allowed us to come to Germany to meet others and he encouraged and challenged us while we there. It was by His grace that we were able to do this. He tugged on all of our hearts and made us smile. I think all of us would like to go back next year if the opportunity comes up again.
