Today we did one final day of construction and got to see the roof finished with concrete. Then in the afternoon we went with church members into the community to invite them to a street church service. Students went to businesses and houses in the Wait-A-Bit Community and invited them to the service and were welcomed into homes and were able to pray with those who couldn't come.

Students then got to sing and share their testimony to those who came and the pastor pointed out so well, we are sowing seeds and we may never know what the impact was of Madelynne, Elton, Nicole, and Sydney sharing their stories or Abigail singing or Wyatt reading. Students were also challenged to take time and talk with those around them. Brenna's story was my favorite - she spoke with one of the worship leaders who encouraged her in her walk with Jesus and prayed over her.

We were also able to pray with Pastor Alison who we met last year. He fell in January and hasn't been able to get better. It was such a privilege since last year he prayed over us.

I asked the students to share one thing that they had learned from this trip. I'll share them below because their words are wiser than any that I can type.

Brenna - God is always there.
Stefan - God does work everywhere.
Ben - Find joy in the midst of sadness.
Sam - God is faithful.
Abigail - God's has so much power and it's been shown on this trip in big things and in small things.
Lindsey - Praise God continually.
John - I was shown that God listens to prayer.
Keelan - God is not a coincidence.
MacKenzie - There is joy in everything.
Mitch - God is even bigger than I thought He was and He deserves to be praised.
Wyatt - Be grateful for the small things.
Nicole - God will always teach you what you need, not necessarily what you expect Him to teach you.
Elton - God is everywhere.
Shannon - Whether good or bad, find gratefulness in all things.
Sami - God is always there even when you think He's not, and He is continually working in our lives.
Haley - I was reminded of the intentionality of God's actions.
Sydney - I was reminded that prayer can be joyful.
Madelynne - Prayer and worship are super powerful.
Michelle - God flows in one direction.
