Globalscope - Uruguay Update 4 Part 2

I didn’t have much to say after Gaston made that statement. I was in a mild state of shock as I had expected to hear a speech of an entirely different sort. And yet what I heard was a story of belonging, of Jesus reaching through this humble little place and grabbing his heart. Every time I look at Gaston’s face I can see how much God loves him. Even in his cynicism and doubt. Even in his outright rejection of faith. Because of La Ruta he’s running into Jesus everyday, even though he doesn’t yet know it. For right now all that matters is that he belongs and that he is loved. Just as he is.
