Musana Educators Team 4-1-17 Update

God is good, all the time. All the time, God is good!

We are ending another day with full hearts. God has been so present with us during our time at Musana. We begin each day praying for our time with the amazing staff and students of Musana; that our thoughts, words, and deeds may glorify Him. Much of our time in the classrooms is centered around God and His ultimate goal for our lives. We stand in awe of the freedom to teach of God's blessings and jealously wish we could do the same back in our own classrooms.

Today we witnessed a reading competition which was more than exciting for us as educators. We see the value and joy of reading and want more than anything to share that joy with our Ugandan colleagues. We see so many steps in the right direction towards creating a 'reading culture' and can't wait to see the fruit of that in years to come. Reading brings such joy!

Our day ended with a staff devotional in which the Flatirons educators joined the Musana staff in worship and reading of scripture. Pastor Isaac inspired us all with his unpacking of John 3:16 and its connection with all the amazing things going on at Musana. Jesus is glorified so well by what is done and said here. In our own personal reflections at the end of the day, we all said some variation of "I'm just happy to be a part of this".

We'll close with a class-celebration-exclamation that is often chanted in the Musana nursery: "One two three for God; One two three for Jesus; One two three for me!"

We love you all! Thank you for your prayers and support!
