It's day two of our trip and for six people on the team, it's their first day ever in Afghanistan, and tonight at dinner, it was their chance to express their initial feelings after spending some time amongst the local Afghan people. Some felt humbled, others felt unworthy of the loving welcome that we received. Others were impressed by the pride shown by our Afghan hosts as they guided us around local landmarks. As much as we try to be a blessing to our Afghan friends, it always seems that our Afghan friends actually bless us better. We finished our day to by visiting King Nadir Shah's tomb and Flag Hill in Kabul. Google both locations and you can read all about them!
