What a day today! We started out with breakfast with our new friends this morning. We had a really emotional "check in" process where members of our team and our new friends from Mexico shared some really personal and heart felt thoughts. I'm always amazed at how the language barrier becomes a non issue when you share heartfelt life situations that deal with faith. God seems to let us understand each other no matter where we are from in this world.

Today we actually put our plans and designs to work and started to lay down stones for the patio. And prayer labyrinth. The idea behind this prayer labyrinth is to give folks who come to visit an experience of focused prayer as they move through a pattern on this walkway. I am really blown away by the design and artistic side of David and Sarah as they have thought through how to make a meaningful prayer walk inside of this space provided. The groundwork has been laid, now we just need to finish putting the stones down where they are supposed to go.

Roman continues to bring his electrician skills to this space by wiring these really cool and tall light posts that bring in a great atmosphere and a peacefulness to this area. What a gift it is for him to be able to use his excellent skills to make this happen. This was a big goal for this week. Amanda and Jared are so great at diving in and helping out wherever is needed. Today I saw them both laying patio stones almost all day, working tirelessly trying to get a job done. Our team is outstanding and we are having a great time.

The food is outstanding and so is the community. We truly feel welcome here in Mexico City. God is good and so gracious to let us do this. All for now.
