Silence. Why is silence so hard? I know when I try to be quiet my mind wanders. James led us in an excercise this morning where we were supposed to keep silent for 6 mins and pray. We were asked to pick a word the will bring us back in focus when our minds drifted. It was a great excercise for all of us. And it was a great reminder of how to refocus when we pray.

We were able to work more today and get close to accomplishing our goals for the week. Amanda, Roman, Sarah and David accompanied Erin to the hardware store to get more supplies and then on to the flower garden to pick out some plants and flowers to enhance the landscaping project. James, Jared and I stayed behind to continue cutting patio pavers to fit into certain parts of the labyrinth. We worked hard today. We're close. The projects are really coming along well.

We had a great lunch today in Iztapalapa. That is where we are staying within Mexico City. It was a quiet and welcoming place with excellent food. The team is great and still working well together. We are all encouraged with the progress so far as well as in our faith. God is good!
