Checking from Tlaqueltnango on Friday
We started the touring a the second oldest church in North America. As we walked the perimeter I asked for a doughnut from a street vender. he refused any money and piled on half a dozen doughnuts and refused to take any money at all. Just another example of the generosity of these people towards this hard working crew.
We spent most of the day cleaning up a demolished house for a family whose grandfather had lived there. Again people came out to help, including his son and grand sons
People bought more food and drinks.
The people have been so nice inviting us in into there homes, talking with us and making us comfortable
The entire community seen to be genuinely happy to have us here.-Dale
