We made it! Yesterday the Musana Educators Team traveled from Denver to New York to Amsterdam to Kigali, Rwanda and finally to Entebbe, Uganda where we slept last night. This morning we awoke and traveled the last five hours by bus to the incredible school and community of Musana. Our team member, Frances, said it best that being received by eager, excited children at the gate and being escorted by them to the church is the closest thing to heaven we can conceive of. It's a wonder that Mark and I have any remaining armhair though...
After singing songs and celebrating with the children, our final activity of the evening was sharing time and fellowship with our grade-level teams. We all walked away with a good sense of what each team wants to focus on this week and how we can learn and grow together in our instruction. We have a big week ahead of us!
This place is so full of love it's overwhelming. Christ's presence is so abundantly clear here and we all took steps closer to Him today. Thank you all so much for your prayers and support.
